STAGE ACADEMY...

Much of my time is taken up with my own singing career, but the rest is spent organising road-shows and of course my highly respected, annual "Stars of the Future" competition, but I do find time to run classes including vocal coaching, stage presentation and stage craft for children and adults by arrangement.

Entertaining people has been my life, and except for being a wife and mother, I've known little else and because of this lifelong commitment I believe that I can help students further their hopes and ambitions in a way that brings out the best of them in respect of their particular talents and personalities. The instant fix, celebrity culture prevalent today is not something that I wish to encourage nor is the "karaoke king or queen" thing. This is about proper training for the professional singers of the future who are the backbone of the  entertainment industry, whether they achieve fame and fortune or not.

I realised way back that whilst vocal training and stagecraft were being taught, trainee performers had no way to hone their new found skills in a real live situation but then it came to me that through my stage shows and competitions I could give them the tuition and then the experience they would need to boost their confidence, and give them a feel for the real thing, but only when I thought they were ready.

Whilst seeing these students take giant leaps in performance terms and going from strength to strength gives me great personal satisfaction, the academy is not free, but is nevertheless competitively priced.
